Beers were a little expensive at 6.25 compared to other places
First of all, to Narada Eady... You are so far off course, I really am grasping at straws to try to both explain how great a place Seth's is (along with the Corner Grub), and how far off target you are. One of my closest friends, who is black btw, is the best bartender that I have met, and that statement includes DC, Baltimore, LA, Philly, Memphis, Nashville, and probably about 6 other cities I don't care to mention. Furthermore, her boyfriend who runs the restaurant adjacent to the pub is WHITE! Ugh... I really can't stand pulling the race/gay/wookie/dolphin hate card. This is a really cool bar if you are just looking to chill out and relax, and best of all, you can order, FROM THE BAR, an entire menu of some of the best food in Watertown! I'm sorry that you had a bad experience, however don't let what you experience "around town" bleed into your review of a great place!
Just a hole in the wall.
WAS THIS RACIEST? Well, I'm a 32 year old Black MAN first of all and this place should've had a sign telling me to use the back door. I am in this SMALL town instructing some classes out on the base and i am staying at one of the local hotels. well i asked where to get a drink at and was sent to this place. Had to be a joke. I walked in and got the "what are you doing here look from everyone, and stood at the bar for services. I stood there for about 3 mins without even a hello and welcome. A white man and woman entered and approach the bar and was greeted and served immediately. I simply walked out, got in my rental and left. So now i am here back in the hotel writing this to let people know RACISM is alive and well, and right here in your own backyard. Please reply and tell me how i am wrong and mistaken. The place wasn't packed enough for a mistake. its a Wednesday. Thanks Watertown NY and Seth's for putting your best foot forward. So much for serving my country for almost 14 years now to still walk into a place and not even be served.
