As always we had a great time, good movie and helpful staff!
I have watched dozens of films here. I don't exactly love it, but it is a solid theater. They have varied movie times to accommodate some alternative schedules which is nice, but their concession stand prices are astronomical. Undoubtedly, if you eat there, you will spend more money on food than the film itself, and the ticket prices aren't the great to begin with. However, it is a decent theater. There is ALWAYS about fifteen solid minutes of previews that start at the movie start time. Sometimes twenty, so be prepared for that as well, though that can be a plus or minus depending on who you are. Anyhow, overall it is a good theater, but it isn't very cost effective. If you're willing to pay the prices, you will have an enjoyable experience.
Great theatre that offers a military discount. Lots of different movies and a good variety of snacks. Like all theatres though, it's a minimum $10 a pop experience
We see a movie a week and I can often look past these things, but today's screening of Born in China was all but ruined by the thick, off-center magenta vignette that marred the picture throughout the film. See my pictures. This was in theatre 9, so at the very least, don't see a film in that one.
The theatres have been nicely redone, but it only goes as far as the seats. The building is too small, so the theatres are too small, resulting in really awful viewing angles in the seats below the walkway (top half of screens appear dark at those angles) and always having to crane your neck.
$12/person is too much to charge for the viewing experience gotten here.
I wouldn't mind these things alone, even with the addition of the overly high volumes (probably to cover the noise of other audience members, a reason we try to see movies around noon on weekdays). But the thing that gets me more and more are the awful aberrations in the screens (or the projector lenses). I've seen white and/or dark spots in several theatres, and many have a burn spot in the middle that seems more reflective (more white) than the rest of the screen.
Never had a problem. I like this place and will revisit very soon! Till next time!
We always sit in the first of the top rows because of this, but then you have to deal with the LEDs lighting the walkway and the bright green exit signs in your peripheral. I understand why they're there, but they glare heavily on my glasses and the light strips shine up into your eyes. In addition, the overhead lights stay on during previews, and certain seats get the "spotlight" (like the middle of the first row in the top section...).
