Never again
I was pleased with how quickly I was able to schedule an appointment when I called in. I was able to get my haircut earlier than the scheduled time. The stylist that cut my hair was very friendly and welcoming. I explained what I wanted and for most of the time my hair was being worked on, I was under the impression that what I had asked for was being done. Soon after the clippers were set down I realized the stylist was done. My hair was not styled which was part of what I had asked for. She even mentioned that it could use some "products". I showed a picture of what I wanted it to look like and the stylist failed to make that happen. Little did I realize, when I made it home and was combing my hair, I noticed that my hair was a different length on one side of my head than the other. It looked as if the stylist had just stopped cutting my hair so she could go on break or something. Having spent $15 on this unfinished haircut, I now have to go somewhere else to get my hair cut accurately. I thought I was getting a quality cut from a quality salon. I was very sadly mistaken.
This is the worst place I've ever had my hair done. The girls are 18 and right out of boces. I went there to get my hair lightened. When she was done it was darker than when I came in, she rescheduled me again and said they would fix it for free. Today she redid my hair and turned my hair completely orange. No manager there to even to ask for my refund. This place is literally a joke.
The manager ought to at least ask if you're okay having someone who's never cut hair before touch it!
This place does not know how to cut hair right at all... All they do is cut cut cut and send you away pissed off. If I could give 0 stars I would
Hair cut was a joke. Showed the employee what I was looking for, they hardly even looked and started cutting. Come to find out she was just 18 and had been cutting hair for three days and had no experience outside of BOCES. Admitted this was the first time she'd ever cut the style I was looking for and mangled it completely and her response was "It's hair it'll grow back".
I should have read the reviews before going here. What a horrible place. My cut took 5 mins and looks nothing like the picture I supplied. The picture was of me so I know its not the case of a hair texture/type mismatch. She took 4 snips and all are crooked. I didn't even feel comfortable asking her to fix it because it was obvious she wasn't interested. A friend was visiting and feeding their baby on the wash stations. Everyone working appeared to be under 20 and on their phones constantly.
I will never come back to this place, and you should avoid it like the plague.
