My property manager and I agreed to have an appliance repair company come out to look at a malfunctioning dishwasher at a rental home I own in Watertown. Rowland's charged $80 for a service call, plus $60 to provide the service from said call, PLUS $80 for labor! In short, they're charging three times for the same thing... to go to my house and drain the pump on the dishwasher. I could have done this myself, for free, in about ten minutes, and the total bill (with tax, of course, because why not slap tax for services on top of it all???) came out to just under $240. Glad I'm 1,500 miles away and don't have a choice!

Overpriced!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.. THEIR SLIPSHOD SERVICE AND OWNER WILL ONLY COST YOU MONEY AND TIME. When you have a 5 year warranty.. just look how many times they can come back if they DON'T FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!! No one needs this kind of extra aggravation.. I hope you heed my words and move on to find a real service company. I am no novice to construction or appliances and have been in the industry for 35 years!

A brand new dishwasher leaked and shot water from the bottom of the door - both sides onto my brand new wood flooring. Our water was turned off until repair time to prevent any possible water damage. A prearranged schedule with my neighbor was made to meet the repairman. Upon arrival my neighbor called so I could speak with the repairman directly while there. The repairman told me upon his arrival he squared the dishwasher and that "SHOULD TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM". A cycle had not even began to start when he was ready to leave. I asked him to stay for a cycle and he told me he would not, didn't have the time and that squaring up the dishwasher "should take care of the problem." I asked him again to stay for the start of the cycle, and when he said no.. I told him he could leave, it was obvious he didn't want to work and that I would call Home Depot and let them know the kind of service I actually received for purchasing a 5 year warranty. That didn't bother him at all. He absolutely didn't care. I felt that I should at have had a real service call where my dishwasher was filled with water and a cycle started to be sure the problem was indeed fixed. Even though I asked him to leave and ended our call, he ended up staying because the dishwasher actually filled while he was giving me words of wisdom about the contractor installation and saw the water squirting out of the door. IMAGINE THAT! So he opened the door to see a part at the front of the dishwasher that should have been in the rear of the dishwasher.. direct from factory.. not the contractors doing.. and is now supposedly fixed it. I called the Owner of this company and tried to explain to him that I felt the dishwasher should have been filled and put through a cycle only to be fed the same no common sense nonsense!!!.. we didn't hire your contractor.. we didn't make the dishwasher.. and if it was out of square.. etc etc.. and told me I was rude.. not civil and hung up on me. I called back to say that I did understand if something is not level or out of square.. that could be a reason.. but... wouldn't it make sense to fill it and check it?? "No.. the CHANCES ARE THAT WAS THE PROBLEM." I asked him if it was his wife's new kitchen with new wood floor, how happy would he be to hear.. "Chances are that was the problem."

DO NOT USE THIS SLIPSHOD COMPANY! NON CARING! NO TIME TO SERVICE YOU PROPERLY! EXTREMELY RUDE IF YOU QUESTION THEIR EXPLANATIONS or confront them with common sense questions. Here's why I say this..
