Great job with the cut I wanted for my dog !! Very friendly environment for my dog and super nice workers ! My dog looks great definitely going back
I have brought both my dogs here for daycare services for over a year. The dogs love it! The employees are very attentive and caring, and they cater to what your dog needs. I highly recommend them!
This is a two part rating that takes in consideration two different services this business offers. I would give a FIVE star for DOGS, and ONE star for CATS... MY cat spent just four days boarded at this facility and came home flea infested and sick from not eating. They should have called me to inform me that she wasn't eating. When I called to check up on her, they said she was eating "a little", but she was clearly very ill from lack of nutrition, with visible weight loss, even after just four days. Anyone who knows cats, knows that four days without eating, for a cat, especially an elderly one, can be dangerous. Six weeks later, and I'm still dealing with the flea infestation, as we have chemical sensitivity issues in our home, so we will likely be dealing with this for months to come. On a brighter note...If you have a dog that has been Frontline, or similarly flea treated, you absolutely should consider this facility for grooming, as they're excellent for that service. I've also boarded dogs, and they seemed happy to be at Best Friends, so my Dog rating is a full FIVE, while my cat experience was a dismal ONE. But seriously, I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. As to the cat, I do understand that it couldn't be their fault she was too stressed to eat, but they should have known to be worried enough to inform me...and the fleas...I should have been informed that she needed to be pre-flea treated. As a strictly indoor cat, it simply didn't occur to me.
My dog has female aggression towards people due to the way he was treated as a puppy before I got him. So i was scared having all female groomers. He's a very loving dog but skittish and has super separation anxiety away from Me. While there, they allowed me to stay within visibility view so he was more comfortable. They did a bath, blow dry and nail cut and buff all for a super affordable price. Now my fur baby is OK with baths but not blow dry. He was flailing around and terrified. Mind you he's a 70lbs lab mix. The owner came right in and sat on the table the dogs stand on and basically coddled him and lulled him until he calmed down. All while I'm still in view. He finely relaxed and the owner still sat and held him through the whole thing assuring he was as comfortable as possible. They were very caring and made sure to be slow moving with their hands to make sure he didn't get startled and to assure him he was safe. He was a happy dog going in and an even happier dog coming out. I highly recommend them!!!!
I have been a customer for quite some time and I never have had anything other than a Great Experience...The Staff is Phenomenal... I'm Always Greeted with a Smile & my Dogs look Fabulous... Awesome Skills & Excellent Service... Thanks Best Friends Pet Care!!!
