I was given this animal hospital phone number since they are the on call get tonight for after hours. I left a message with a clerk and the vet called me back extremely quick! She was very compassionate and gave me several inexpensive options to take care of my baby on my own and that if i was still concerned I could take her to Syracuse to see if there is blockage from the t-bone steaks she took off the counter. She was extremely patient with my thousands of questions! I honestly could not ask for a better vet outside of my baby's regular vet at north country animal health center. I recently had an appointment in August of 2017 for an office exam regarding my cat. I arrived 10 minutes late so they unilaterally advised me as I walked in the door that an additional fee was going to be applied to my bill as a result of not showing up on time. Given the $100's of dollars in donations I have made in the past into the cat donation jar that that sits on front counter, this additional fee seemed unreasonable. In September 2017, I had scheduled surgery for my cat with them. Morning of surgery as I am driving over to bring my cat, they call me on my cell phone to cancel surgery. No explanation given. No concern that they wasted my time. No interest in rescheduling a new surgery date. I called North Country Animal Health the next day and they and they immediately took care of my cat's situation. I am so happy I made the switch.

I called at 8 am and was granted a ten o clock appointment that same day. The staff was great with my dog and gave me treatment options for his problem. We were done in 45 minutes with a treatment plan and a much happier pit bull terrier. I was even called the following day to check up on him. I'm very grateful that I called Watertown animal hospital.
