We have been coming here for breakfast maybe once or twice a month for the past 6 months. We used to love coming here because the service was awesome and the food was great. I don't know if they are under new management or what but this place has definitely gone downhill in the past couple months. It always takes 30+ mins to get our food from the time we order it meanwhile we can hear the waitresses arguing with the cooks about items missing from plates of food. Last visit I had to listen to a waitress yell about an English muffin for 5 minutes. The waitresses seem to avoid coming to the table because they already know you're irritated the food is taking so long and are going to ask about it. My husbands beverage was extremely watered down the last two times we went there. And the last visit which was about a week ago I ordered the veggie omelet which was basically a mushroom omelet when i received it. They must have been out of all the other veggies. The girl that checked us out was extremely rude and seemed to be irritated at having to do her job. Needless to say we probably won't be back. Also a couple days before I ordered a pie from there for a birthday party. I arrived an hour after it was suppose to be done and they hadn't even started it yet so I had to wait 10-15 min and when i got it home it looked horrible like someone just threw it together at the last minute. It was still good just not pleasing to the eye. For $17 I expected a little bit more in terms of quality.
Good place to come with the family, but very crowded. The Candied Bacon is just AMAZING, honestly the best thing I've ever had. The food, in the other hand, was a little blend. I don't know if I had way too high expectations, but the pictures on the menu looked awesome, now, when the food came to the table it was missing a lot of seasoning. I'll give it another try, next time I'll order something different just to see if there is any change.
I ate breakfast there this morning and the service was great but the food was lousy. The home fries were cold and the grits could have had more water instead of being so stiff. Worse meal I've ever had anywhere.
Just want to say I live in Austin and my son lives out there so I ordered him a Turkey meal for him and his wife. I am so happy you offer this, as they are young and it is their first Thanksgiving alone with out the family. I called to pay over the phone and they were busy, my fault I called during lunch and a sweet lady offered to call me back so I did not have to wait. And she did within the time frame she told me. I just want to say Thank You. This means more then you know. I wish everyone there a Happy Thanksgiving.
Food is good. Take out service has not been good yet. I have ordered take out on Several occasions, waiting longer than most places. when you get it home , it's cold, prob since it's been sitting out for do long .
