Soldiers beware. One of my soldiers told me he got a car and the interest rate was a little high. When I asked how much he told me 23%. I showed him the math that a $15000 car ends up being $28000 after interest. Tried to bring it back. The loan company, snaac, said the loan hadn't been processed and if the car company was willing to, they would cancel the whole thing. The sales manager spoke to his boss and they declined and said he's signed a legally binding contract so he's stuck. He said dont worry, you can just refinance in a month. He kept repeating how this is technically legal. As his NCO i asked well do you feel this is ethical which he had nothing to say. The contract said he could bring it back within 2 weeks if not happy but the salesman found a loophole to make him keep it. This place takes advantage of new soldiers and is sketchy at best. Were headed to JAG next. Soldier to soldier don't go here.
I came here about three weeks ago to buy a used car. The staffs here were so friendly. When I arrived in the lobby, I was approached by two salesman (Romeo & Cam). The two salesman were very professional and Cam gladly told me that Romeo will be helping me out. I knew exactly what I wanted and Romeo respected that and didn't try to sell me another car that was more expensive. Al, the sales manager, came and greeted me in the process. I got a used Honda Accord for way below the sticker price. I'm glad I decided to come to Drive American. It was a pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
Romeo told me that he wouldn't pull my credit, but only "look" at it. I didn't want a ding on my credit. Well I got a notice on my credit report that they DID pull my credit and it dropped 46 points. He straight up lied to me and and called me a weirdo because I was filing a dispute with the creditor! Very unprofessional and he needs to be trained more on customer service! TWO THUMBS DOWN!!
I called up this place to see if I can set up an appointment for the weekend with one of their car salesmen, and they were more than accommodating to set me up an appointment that is suitable to my work schedule. During that weekend, I was able to get a used 2004 Volkswagen Beetle that was within my price range and theirs. The car salesman Jeremy was very kind, sociable, and understanding. If you are looking for a used car that is within your budget, this is definitely the place to be. They will make you feel welcome and in the right hands.
If I could give 0 stars I would
I wanted a used car but I also was looking for quality as well as great customer service. I decided to visit Drive America since my friends had given me a good review about them. I was very please as I was greeted right away by their lovely staff. It wasn't long before Romeo the salesman was showing me around. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions with ease. I am please that I was able to purchase a vehicle within my price range. I would recommend Drive America to everyone! I hope to do business again and hopefully next year to buy my husband a nice vehicle too. Thank you Drive America for making feel like a customer that you actually cared about and not just a number!
